EOAS and MDRU are host to the Society of Economic Geologists UBC-Student Chapter. UBC undergraduate and graduate students interested in the study of economic geology should definitely make a point of joining this dynamic society.

Students might like to check out the new Sustainability Education Resource Centre. At the Centre, students can get one-on-one advice on UBC's diverse sustainability education offerings and integrating sustainability into their studies through courses, leadership and volunteer opportunities and also get informed about the current events happening on sustainability on and off campus.
